Virtualization of spaces with SONarchitect
In certain projects, it is common to encounter the need to create gaps that pass along the various floors of a building (lift holes, open inner courtyards, stairs,...). To define these types of spaces, thevirtualization.
To explain how this tool works, the following example has been developed:
As we see in the picture, there are three enclosures in the building, one on Floor 0 and two on Floor 1. If the ground floor and the enclosure in blue are to be interpreted as a single volume (leaving two enclosures throughout the building), the following steps must be taken:
1) Select the 3D model of the building using the option
2) Select the virtualization tool
and through arrows
and
select the plant where you want to virtualize and press with the left mouse button on the forging to be virtualized.
3) Click on Calculate and you can see that there will now be only two enclosures in the project:
